Art in the Pen is a well established and highly regarded art and craft fair that runs each year in Thirsk and Skipton Auction Marts. From humble beginnings, the event has developed into what many now consider to be the North’s leading art event. Today, Art in the Pen has flourished into a sprawling event, with an abundance of creativity and craftsmanship at every turn.
Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair

I’ll be exhibiting at the GNCCF in Manchester.
The multi award-winning GNCCF in Manchester is one of the leading selling events for contemporary craft in the UK, attracting over 6000 visitors. It showcases work from over 160 selected designer–makers: from contemporary ceramicists, jewellers, furniture makers and printmakers, to artists working with glass, paper and textiles.

Saltaire Arts Trail is a community arts event held annually on the late May Bank Holiday weekend. It offers an imaginative visual arts programme, celebrating the village’s rich heritage, and offering opportunities to both emerging and established artists.
The Arts Trail prides itself in reaching out to new audiences and making art accessible to all by using imaginative venues – the internationally recognised Salts Mill, public buildings, the homes of Saltaire residents and outdoor spaces around Saltaire, to display visual art outside of traditional settings, as well as delivering new exhibitions and commissions.
Future Makers 2018 – Manchester Craft and Design Centre

In support of new, emerging talent, each year our resident makers hand pick promising ‘Future Makers’ to showcase their work here at Manchester Craft and Design Centre. These new designers are either currently studying, recent graduates or newly emerging and this opportunity will bring their beautiful work into the spotlight. This exhibition will guide you around the Centre, allowing you to discover our innovative Future Makers work within our resident makers studios.

The art& show 2017 is a fantastic opportunity
for collectors, buyers, art lovers and anyone else who is interested in meeting artists and buying unique art works to come along to this friendly, accessible and affordable show. Set over 3-days the art& show has over 120 artists work for sale & commission from a wide price range of £10-£20,000.
You can also meet our RAW Talent Artists – 12 emerging artists who’ve won a place on our 6 month mentoring and supporting scheme. RAW Talent artists get a free place at the show and financial support to make the whole thing possible for them and in turn any sales they make have a commission back towards the scheme. So by buying from them you support their careers and the careers of the next years RAW winners too!

I will be exhibiting in the main exhibition in Holmfirth Civic Hall during Holmfirth Artweek 2017
One of the UK’s Largest Open Art Exhibitions, Featuring over 400 exhibitors and over 2,000 artworks, plus dozens of fringe venues across the local area with thousands more works of art and craft.
Holmfirth Artweek is a local event with a national reputation. The majority of the exhibitors are from this area but large numbers of visitors come from all over the country to view and to buy. It is astounding how much artistic talent there is locally and it is this that makes the event such a success every year.

Art in the Pen was established in Skipton, North Yorkshire in 2005 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. Each year, artists transform cattle pens into galleries from which they sell original works of art.
Art in the Pen features the best in modern, conceptual and contemporary art in friendly and innovative venues.
